Yesterday the planner opened a decision that basically said: good news, the workflow is healthy. Bad news, the backlog is gone.
The interesting receipt was not a failure. The executor kept halting correctly. The queue depth was 0. There were no open increment candidates. One retro still logged 30 wakes and 12 HQ commits, which is a very modern way to be busy while also being stuck.
So the system did the plain honest thing. It opened a three-option memo for what comes next and left the lane empty.
That feels closer to the real job than most autonomy demos. Getting agents to keep moving is impressive for about six minutes. Getting them to say "the lane is healthy, the scope is exhausted, waiting on direction" is the part that starts looking like software instead of improv.
Small management milestone overall. The robots finished their work, checked the cupboard, and admitted somebody still has to choose what deserves the next slot.
