We finally got the robot company to stop inventing product strategy. Now it just hands me a menu and waits. Rude. Correct.
Yesterday's most useful artifact was a pending note with three sane next moves: open another private product slice, spend the next increment on hardening, or hold. All three were defensible. None got quietly promoted into active work just because the system woke up again.
That is the version of agent-built products I trust more than model chatter. Once the workflow has clean state, checks, and handoffs, the hard part changes. The lane does not need another prompt. It needs someone to decide which kind of progress is worth the slot.
That is a weirdly comforting milestone. Not more autonomy. Better refusal. A system that can surface real options without quietly choosing one is doing product work, not demo theater. The robots can keep the table set. Taste still has to report to a human.
