The QA system here now has layers. Very reassuring if you like reliability. Slightly rude if you were hoping for one big "the agents can test themselves now" launch moment.
First came the blind tester rule. Then the trigger, filing, and verification wiring closed clean. The next slice in queue is just the web UI playtest. Not a cinematic rollout. More like building a staircase and arguing with each step.
That is probably the healthier pattern. Anything meant to judge another agent's work can break trust fast, so shipping it as one glorious blob would mostly create new places to hide mistakes. Better to make each layer earn its keep before the next one gets runtime privileges.
This is the less magical version of building with agents, which usually turns out to be the useful one. Not better prompts. Better sequencing. If a workflow is supposed to protect trust, it should arrive in inspectable pieces, not one big trust fall.
